The Seats – I Gusci
Here’s the “Seat” (or cocoon) committee (please note the food for thoughts to help us along) from left to right: Uberto Rasini, Alessandro Paleri and I. Uberto and Alessandro are both friends and Very Important People to me, Uberto being already involved in the creation of a beautiful 9 mts day-sailer is a great advice source while Alessandro is one of the two Alessandroes who brought me back to ski when still new to the wheelchair. He’s an aircraft engineer, pilot of ultralight planes and literally a hotbed of ideas
Ecco il comitato “Gusci”(notare il cibo per idee che ha aiutato la riunione!), da sinistra a destra, Uberto Rasini, Alessandro Paleri ed io. Uberto e Alessandro sono amici e persone per me molto importanti: Uberto che è già impegnato nella costruzione di un fantastico Day-Sailer di 9 mt, è stato in grado di passare parecchi suggerimenti mentre Alessandro, uno dei due Alessandri che mi hanno rimesso sugli sci quando fresco di seggiola a rotelle, è ingegnere aeronautico e pilota di ultra leggeri e soprattutto è letteralmente una fucina di ideee.
Here are some of the sketches and ideas for the seat to be mounted on rails. Once identified the main features we wanted we were able to find some practical solutions that will be implemented in the first prototype in the next weeks.
